The NASN London City Airport Corporate Basketball League was created through popular demand, following on from the success of the NASN Corporate Basketball Challenge played at Canary Wharf in April 2004. Aimed at providing a fun but structured environment for keen basketball players to challenge their competitors and colleagues in the City and Canary Wharf area, this 3-on-3 tournament has attracted 28 teams playing weekly games at the Reebok Sports Club between November and March.

The league is now entering its second year after a highly successful inaugural year last year.

Structure

The League consists of two divisions - the Championship Division and the Conference Division with each division reflecting the abilities of the teams allowing for much greater competition among teams of similar standards. Each Division will consist of 12 teams who play a minimum of three 10-minute games every alternate Thursday evening between 6.00 pm and 9.30 pm. Each game will be officiated by professional London United referees

Both NASN and London City Airport are committed to continuing to make the League an annual event that is recognised as the UK's biggest and best corporate league.

Dates

The League will take place from the 24th November 2005 until 31st March 2006 with two weeks off at Christmas (22nd & 29th December).
