Pricing Information
Trans Atlantic Sports is the trading name of Business Development of Sport Ltd of 56 Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 3LR. Most of the product we supply is done so via regular imports from North America, the main reason being that we can provide a really wide range of products at prices that are the same if not better than found by consumers based in Europe buying from North American web sites (companies).
When a consumer buys a product directly
from a North American based company (eg MLB.com, NHL.com, NFL.com, NBA.com….),
the consumer will receive a high and fixed freight charge and they will
have to pay VAT (17.5%), Duty (11% typically) and an Admin charge from the
shipping company (eg UPS, Fedex….).
one of the main reasons people buy from us is to be protected by EU trading laws.
Delivery
Because we carry such a wide variety of product and a typical customer tends to buy on average 2.6 items per order. We have developed a simple postage charge mechanism. It is based on the value of the order (see below):

Our pricing policy takes into account the relevant shipping charge – eg a replica baseball Jersey priced at £47.00 incurs a £7.95 postage charge. We have taken into account that the price of this product should be higher. Our typical customer orders 2-3 items and so the shipping charge and price of the order are more balanced.
Timing
Many of the products
that are sold in the TA-Sports.net shop are imported from the US to ensure authenticity.
We therefore have a 28 day delivery policy to allow for this. If a product
is in stock it will be shipped immediately, or if a product is in stock,
but is only part of an order, that part of the part order will be shipped
immediately with the remaining items being sent at a later date.
Sizing
Please ensure you take an adequate amount of time to ensure the size you are about to order is correct as we will not be able to exchange your product free of charge if you order the wrong size.
Returns
All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase and must be unworn, unlaundered, tags attached and in a re-saleable condition. All sale items are final sale and cannot be returned.
